Historically Novell has recommended setting file attributes to Shareable and Read Only. This was to deal with DOS 3.0 and earlier and network dumb programs. This is now an obsolete process and if you are in the habit of doing this it's time to quit (unless you are still running DOS version 2 on your workstations).

MarxMenu is a network smart product. It therefore isn't recommended that any file flagging be done on Computer Tyme software.
