BtrvRecords (Handle) : Number

BtrvRecords returns the number of records in a file. You must open the file and get a file handle first. 


Example:

   Var Fields, Handle
   ReadAscTextFile('FIELDS.TXT',Fields)
   Handle = BtrvOpen('CLIENTS.BTR',Fields)
   Writeln BtrvRecords (Handle)           ;# of Records in CLIENTS.BTR
